>thinks librarians read

I worked at a library and most people there had no understanding of literature or the western canon. The branch manager only read YA novels written in the last five years. I would try to discuss books and they would act like I was crazy to actual read and want to discuss them. Reading for them is only for little children or romance/mystery novels for the old who are about to die.
