Thanks for participating, everybody. We almost made it an entire sixth of the way through before a child had thin enough skin and crippling enough autism that somebody being mean to him on the internet activated his lizard-brain retaliation instinct and he ruined things for everybody.
I expected there to be stupidity and trolls, but nothing to the level of the autistic temper tantrum going on right now. No talking about books allowed on /lit/, I guess. I could try to move things to a private Discord server or something, but I feel like that would go against the spirit of open discussion I had been hoping for, so this is the end of it.

I hope everyone who bought TPK specifically to read along with us continues reading it, I'm about halfway through and enjoying it immensely. Maybe there'll be threads for discussion in the near future and we can all talk about it then. I'm sorry to everyone involved that it's ending this way.

>I cant think anyone really believes that today's so-called 'information society' is just about information. Everyone knows it's about something else, way down.

So what's it about?

Can we still have a discord server? It can come in handy. Or is there already a /lit/ server which I am not aware of?

I'm curious, why do you think that? It's not like he's wrong, but I don't really agree with his refusal to outright state what that "something else" is. I presume he's doing it to give the impression of artistic ambiguiuty but it's not exactly an open-ended question. That being said, it's not "pseud" by merit of trying to assign a little more mystery to a statement that while simple undoubtedly has relevance and significance, I don't think. So again, why is this "pseud?"
