Obsessive compulsive disorder. The downside is that no one who doesn’t have it understands the impact it can have on someone’s life. The upside is that since it’s been portrayed in the media as a funny quirk disorder nobody views me as being legitimately ill (so, for example, when I reported it and my previous treatment for it when looking to join the military they thought nothing of it). Tried drug treatment for it and it didn’t work. Side effects were bad and so was withdrawal from discontinuing the usage. Had just been coming off the treatment around the time the shooting happened and my friend was killed. Not the best of times.
