I've made a horrible mistake and tried watching OP's link. It took her 4 minutes to get to the fucking point which boils down to "it's hard and I hate things that take time". She made a right choice dropping CS, she probably types several thousand lines just to printout "Hello World" on a screen

The number of friends I've had drop out of intro CS honestly baffles me.
It's not even difficult. There's no maths, no arcane C sorcery, just some basic java or python or whatever and a teaspoon of logical thinking. You can get the equivalent of an intro CS class online for free from one of those codecademy-type sites. How can a person live in the modern era without understanding the very basic fundamentals by which a computer functions?

if u want some more rich stanford chicks to piss you off, see if you can find the wwdc talk by some chick who created some kind of "engineer doll" for girls, she did an engineering degree at stanford, but after just barely managing to scrape by decided to start a toy start up instead of actually working stem, then she tells her "inspiring" female founder startup story, where 75% of the way through drops that her husband is a film producer and she used all of his gear and expertise to make marketing and pitch videos, etc. all the nerdy apple fanbois know they have to virtue signal but really can't seem to get our authentic applause i swear i heard a coupe groans when she mentioned her husband produced all her video for her, but maybe that was my imagination being sexist
