Nashville TN. McKays, Rhino Booksellers, Various thrift stores/goodwills. If anyone knows of other bookstores in Nash just let me know
>is it a good bookstore?
Yes McKays has tons of books (although their copies of Lolita, Catch 22, and Calvino books are a bit pricey for used ie $7-9)
>what’s your best book or deal you’ve found there?
I found Invisible Cities for $1 (albeit with highlighter markings in it, I plan on buying a new copy soon). I also found Carpenters Gothic for $0.75 and Brothers Karamazov for $3. The best thing about McKays is it’s cheap and you can find /lit/ approves classics along with more modern and lesser known classics. I also with the philosophy was a bit cheaper but I’m a tightwad so can’t realy complain here.

I somehow managed to purchase a first edition of Appointment in Samara by John O'Hara for $2.50 at McKays. It has to be one of my favorite bookstores I've been to.

It’s a great place to buy used everything, their movies can be a bit pricey.
