I am genuinely terrified of America and their culture. That such a freedom of weaponry ownership should be combined with such an uneducated, ignorant population. I am terrified at the very sight of the above image. That man is holding what appears to be a gun. Out in the open. My friend went to Portugal recently. From the pictures he showed me, I was beyond stunned by the beauty of the architecture, the layouts followed by the cities. Some substantiation to this should be provided as there doesn't appear to be any evidence of it. The perceived abundance of social blight in a vicinity doesn't give one the right to behave in a defensive manner with any individual at any given moment. It's not legal to point a weapon at somebody somewhere that isn't your property for something that isn't a threat to your personal safety such as mattress dumping which would be what escalated it into a larger confrontation.
In many places you wouldn't be allowed to shoot someone until they attempt physically intrude inside of a structure that you own. You can't shoot someone for unknowingly trespassing on your field.
Otherwise you could argue that both individuals are entitled to drawing their guns and duking it out in the alley which would sound absurd.

Also, if you were to be on even ground, you cannot kill someone you yourself provoked unless you retreat into your home and declare peace first; then if they pursue, you can kill them in self-defense.
