You're right in a way. Rand isn't a thing in genuine intellectual literate culture. The TLS is not going to review the latest objectivist book or whatever, any more than the classical music crowd have an opinion of Carli B vs Iggy
She's an obscure novelist with a weird fanclub, and in literary circles nobody really knows she exists - she's only known on little corners of the Internet like this.

You are entirely correct in doing so, but then you fall into the same trap - only more so because the figure on whom you are wasting your time is even less significant than Rand. I have fallen even worse still because I am now criticizing someone two degrees in separation from the original subject. Everyone's best hope is to just ignore all of it - especially me. By even responding to my post you confirm your further descent into insignificance.
