Anyone else refuse to read books with awful cover art?
It just feels like.. if the cover art is so bad I'd rather not see what's inside.
Better to make it a flat color than putting shitty art on there.

My own personal pet peeve for cover art, is when it is just a person sort of being there.

Are you telling me this book has people in it? What? And will these people be doing things?! Revolutionary.

I can empathize.
There defnitely is merit to making the book cover attractive or representative or something the like; maybe even targeting a certain demographic; and nothing wrong with making it plain either,
but the wrong cover can reflect poorly on the content or publisher.

Doesn't an elevated IQ requirement make it a bad book?
Maybe I'm just overestimating brainlets.
