its a less edgy rick and morty before rick and morty was actually a thing, much like r&m
It's a half-baked nihilism dressed up as cynical realism and spouts the kind of lazy, autodidact, self-serving, personal philosophy of those weaned in the information-era: "Nothing really matters so do whatever you want" much like the very same douglas adams himself reveled in his own ironic detachment.

Community College, seems like the best classes are related to technical fields not covered in four year colleges.

Once I finish this semester, I’m seriously considering leaving my girlfriend, cutting contact with what few friends I have, and moving to a cabin in the woods. I got fired from my job last night, and have no real way to pay for college anymore. Regardless- this constant slaving for 70-80 hours a week towards some kind of feeling of advancement in life, when in fact I’m stagnating and killing myself, seems pointless. A quiet wooden cabin, to sit by a fire every night and go for long walks in the morning, to have time to read and write, and no worries besides catching a fish or trapping a rabbit for dinner seems ideal.

Went to UCCS. Took classes by experts in Joyce and Chaucer, rest of the lit department is hit or miss. One guy who does cold war lit and critical theory is really cool, but the lady who teaches shakespeare through an ecofeminist lens is pretty lame.

I go to Georgia Tech and we don't fucking have one
We have a "Literature, Media, and Communications" department but none of them give the least fraction of a fuck about books and when I've tried to ask the handful of students majoring in it what the hell they're doing they've all responded that they don't know

From my experience so far, it's basically GSU but for wealthier burnouts and frat boys. It sounds like shit but the small school meme is real as far as professor interactions go and the school has a surprising amount of money to throw around, I don't want to post too much information because it would probably be very easy to dox anyone that goes here
also I do it for free

It's funny and endlessly inventive, with a kind of gentle edginess that I suppose hasn't aged that well for everyone. As a kid, I read and reread the first few books until my parents prohibited me from reading them as they felt I was developing too caustic and sarcastic a sense of humor as a result.

(All of this excepts the last few books, which aren't very good.)

i won't name my uni but the lectures are a mixture of feminist neologisms & opaque philosophizing

the best lectures are ones which alternate between lecturers & are basically just introductory statements about poets which will lead on to a better reading of them

the tutors vary

one of my tutors was an utter dunce but i think they just shoved him in to the first semester because they unload the trash there

another tutor was kind of okay for filosofia but maybe rambled on about marxist shite a bit too much

my best tutor was actually a foreigner

he knew a lot about historical context
