IQ is legit. A friends son, who scored 144 as a 12 year old, later got into university at 15 (3 years before most people go). And finished in 2 years instead of 3. The interesting thing is that my friend never enforced things on the child or made him study, he was just naturally inclined to being obsessive with studying. His field is music btw.

This has little to do with IQ. Undergrad is a joke and most 12 year olds with an IQ over 115 would be able to manage it without issue.
It has more to do with his parents or gifted director saying to do this. Shows money and planning on their behalf. That's why I included the condition of an IQ of at least 115. You actually don't need to understand the material to do somewhat well in undergrad. That's why there homework and busybody work occupy over 50% of the weight now in many courses. How else do you think subhumans are able to pass? Moreover the standard for the material is low, very low. Even advanced fields, you barely take that many credits in the core concentration and these only provide a superficial understanding rather than a "deep" understanding. Deep understanding always requires effort that goes beyond doing what is required in the course, it requires persistent self study and research which most people do not do. The biggest pseuds are those who take difficult courses, not to learn the material but to prove something for external validation--- it makes zero sense if you are intelligent because you have the foresight to realize it can hurt GPA and undermine admissions AND that it can be taken without a grade in the form of an audit. Anyone who pretends undergrad is deep and a sign of a big brain needs to be put in a labor camp. Puffing up undergrad is is what brainlets do to feel smart. High IQ people realize it was a charade and a waste of 4 years of life that they were forced to undertake only to gain entry into more advanced fields due to credentialism.
