pro tip to all the budding novelists here

just write some provocative smear book against the Trump admin, reference a few "anonymous sources", and then do the rounds on the news and talk shows until all the hysteric delusional anti-Trumpists buy your book because it satisfies, in one go, both 1) the desire to justify hating trump and 2) look smart while doing it

im not even remotely a trumpist but my god is this obsession irritating. I don't think it's a coincidence that past "gotcha" books like fire and fury or comey's shit have faded into obscurity already

Political actions have to make sense in the reality we live in. >>11752366
That's not really how it works. Woodward has hundreds of hours of tapes of interviews with sources substantiating the things he says. The sources are only anonymous to the public. His fact checker, editor and likely a legal representative from the publisher have all checked though the evidence to make sure they are in a rock solid position if there were actually any legal action against them for libel.

I disagree, Woodward carries a lot of weight in Washington. Personally, I think republicans are going to bail on Trump in mid 2019 after midterms assuming their cover up doesn't work and they don't hold both houses of congress. I think Kavanaugh is the last thing they're going to try and keep it together for.

I’m convinced 90% of Trumpfags are either underage or suffer from dementia. George Bush has received far, far worse shit than Trump, and Obama received a bunch of shit for wearing a tanned suit, on top of being accused of not being an American citizen. Every president gets shit because they’re in charge and they have power, they have a responsibility to represent the country and work in its best interests. Yet Trumpfags pretend this is some new phenomenon and that Trump is some unique, innocent victim in all of this who is receiving an unusual amount of attention. Ironically, as much as Trumpfags pretend that everyone else is overly sensitive, it is Trump who always has meltdowns every time someone criticizes him, opposes him, contradicts him, or says something that doesn’t portray him in a 100% positive light.
