Everyone isn't the same. There's nothing wrong with admitting that. Frankly, racism was an easy step for me once I got over the guilt of it. I already didn't trust people in general.
My main rule is everyone is a piece of shit until they prove otherwise. But black people tend to be shittier on average, doesn't mean that white people aren't shitty as well. I leave them alone and ask for the same in return. I'm not openly racist because like you said that's rude. But I don't have to like anyone if I don't want to.
That's how I look at it anyways.
