I normally ignore 95% of the text on these boards. I'm just here for when a shitty image catches my attention and I skim through the post to see if there is anything interesting being said. It's weird to think that we're all surrounded by other people's words and thoughts in writing here and just ignore most of it, attributing all of their characteristics to this website or to some imaginary character you've created that suits the culture of the board well enough. To be honest, I'm a brown male who grew up in a white neighborhood. When I see a post here I imagine a 20 something average build white guy who browses /pol/ or if it's really smart, a 40 something white guy that only browses, /sci/, /lit/, and /his/. Sometimes I see posts that remind me of my brown friends and I imagine the person being like them, or a post that seems like it's from a woman and I have a completely different established template for that. The weird thing is I almost always default to white male, even though I've never seen any of you, there are probably so many colored people and women here I don't even have a proper perspective of that I'm beginning to think that my idea of colored people and women is completely warped by this place. Maybe it has something to do with anonymity and what I perceive to be the standard setting for a person because of my whitewashed upbringing.

So much of the content here is text-driven and to have a board dedicated to reading and writing is genius in it's own right. Do you guys ever find it weird that /pol/ is the first board that comes up on google when you search for this site? If you don't believe me, browse /mu/ for thirty seconds, everyone on the first page was paid to make the post that they made. We live in a era of advertising, might as well get used to it now. So not only so we have multiple cultures, of multiple ages browsing 4chan, but also company shills? All with anonymity? Can you imagine the culture clash that must happening everywhere on this board? Can you imagine what would happen if somehow we were no longer anonymous here? Let's say Hiromoot, or whatever his name is, decides to sell our IPs to someone, and some hackers end up intercepting it and spread it all over the internet. You're sort of agreeing with me then, in the sense that are at least people behind it. America is something running from hundreds of years backed by millennia of complex progressions in many areas. There are many psycho's behind America as there are any nation. That America is in its position isn't so much their doing but a complex progression of many interchanging processes influenced by the nature of people. Like I've been saying, the problems with the world wouldn't be fixed by the toppling of any one thing.
