He purposely made it seem that way so when his ex-fiance read it it would make their breakup easier on her. The character is a scoundrel and occupies the lowest of Kierkegaards spheres (the aesthetic) and it would be ridiculous to think the seducer is a self insert fantasy. This can easily be gleaned from the way he lived his life and all his other writing.
Also Kierkegaard has wonderful prose...
