Is it worth rereading Atlas Shrugged? I understood none of it the first time. I just went through it. I read 75 pages a day for two weeks.

I read Fountainhead as well; I thought it was enjoyable. Then I researched Rand's ideology. Now that I've just turned 19, I'm rereading it and I'm realizing how much depth I skimmed over.

I'm starting to see how truly weak the people around me are. They live for the sake of others. They have no sense of values. They seek weak women because they are weak inside. They jump at any opportunity to exploit others and are vile. They use charisma as opposed to competence. They laud altruism but act like unbridled brutes.

I can not tell you how different I see people today. They are all suffering sheep that need a purpose in their lives; what they need is objectivism.

But still guaranteed replies because /lit/ still falls for a Rand thread every time. And why not, she solved philosophy and they don't like it because it discredits their fancy professors. And obviously Atlas Shrugged is actually readable unlike shit like Joyce

well at 19 you're not as stupid as say age 15 but you're still stupid. you'll see at age 25.

>I'm starting to see how truly weak the people around me are.
trust me, you are that same weak guy to other people having the same idiotic thought.

other people will seem better when you quit using the internet and television to make generalizations. there are shitheads out there, but not as many as you'd like to think.
