Any tips on books like pic related? I'm looking for something great about mysticism, esotericism, the occult, magic, spirituality. It's really important that it's semi-believable or that the author and characters themselves believe these weird things are actually happening. I want to get spooked and entranced by some paranormal shit.

Don Juan is true on a symbolic level. Which is true of this book (Thundersqueak) as well. It is magical fiction in the truest sense of the word. But it does not pretend to be anthropology. It is purely phenomenology of mysticism and magick through a chaos magick and thelema inspired vibe. A dialogue between personas within the author (Ramsey Dukes). Very relevant to modern society. References everything from Don Juan to Borges to 1984.
