SO /LIT/, TOMORROW I HAVE A CORPORATIONS LAW EXAM. IT'S OPEN BOOK, AND THIS IS WHAT I'VE DONE:

BEGINNING WITH LECTURE NOTES, I FORMULATED A TABLE OF THREE COLUMNS.

COLUMN 1: A KEYWORD/SENTENCE TO BRING ATTENTION TO IT

COLUMN 2: THE COMMON LAW CASE AND/OR LEGISLATION IN RELATION TO IT

COLUMN 3: FURTHER DETAILS/RULINGS ABOUT IT

THEN AFTER GOING THROUGH ALL THE LECTURES AND CONDENSING INFORMATION INTO THIS TABLE, I CHECKED THE TEXTBOOK READINGS AND ADDED ANY BITS THAT WEREN'T IN THE LECTURE NOTES.

THEN USED THIS TABLE TO ANSWER PRACTICE QUESTIONS AND TUTORIAL WORK.

MY LECTURER SAID THAT THE TEXTBOOK AND THE LEGISLATION ACT ARE 'ESSENTIAL' TO THE EXAM, BUT I CAN'T SEE HOW I COULD NEED THEM, WHEN I'VE MANAGED TO CONDENSE ALL THE INFORMATION INTO 20 PAGES.

CAPSGUY DOING WHAT HE DOES BEST: MINIMUM EFFORT, MAXIMUM RESULTS.

WHY STUDY? WHEN I HAVE MY TABLE OF ANSWERS!

Best advice I could give before a big test is as follows: whatever your dirty little vice is; a smoke or a candy bar for instance show up to the test 20 minutes early and just chill for a second before you go in the building, grab a coffee whatever, but put away the phone, the notes, the bullshit of the world, and focus, breath deep and calm down for 10 minutes. 2 minutes before the test get into attack mode, storm in and fucking own that shit, just rip it onto the page, fuck it your only going to do this crap once so don't be a puss and always go for your first instinctual answer, don't second guess.
