Greentexts should be considered a new and unique literature style.
Which are, in your opinion, some examples of greentext with artistic merit?

The one what where anon wants to buy a big book and the cashier flirts with him and is like "light reading?" and anon misunderstands so he's like "no it's a very heavy book" and there's an awkward silence in which she is described first as a crush and then future wife and then soul mate before he says "i wanna preform the transaction now" one of you faggots got that one?

Agreed, anon's psychology in this is very interesting. He pretty much scores a knock out homerun with a girl that (as someone else points out) 90% of 4chan posters will never experience, but he is constantly plagued by self-loathing and self-doubt. But the story is hopeful: his neuroticism is overcome by the sheer beautiful magic of the universe and he is able to come together with someone and share passionate moments, and probably will continue to do so. A very beautiful short story.

Greentexts seem to convey a feeling that other forms aren't able to offer. They're deeply personal and have narrative but are fragmentary and have can have a lot of "space." Will future scholars be digging through 4chan archives looking at our scribblings like Sappho's fragments or Pompeii's graffiti, fleeting moments of daily life written for anyone to see?

>does she say "I wanna fuck?"
depending on the relationship, yes or no. usually, though, there's an unspoken recognition that you wanna bang each other

>how do you take clothes off? etc.
well, literally just that. usually there's foreplay involved, something anon hasn't seemed to realise. once the foreplay has been going on long enough and its clear both are willing to move forward, you begin to undress yourselves/ each other, followed by putting on a condom, oral sex, etc.

>what happens if you dont have a condom?
either you have sex anyway like a retard, you stick to just having oral sex or whatever, or you go out and buy one.

>what happens after you finish?
anything, really. having a shower is common, to get rid of the sweat/body fluids etc. afterwars you might watch a movie, get something to eat, or just lay in bed talking about stuff, etc.

There are certainly bad greentexts on level with instapoetry but the question here is if greentexts are a different class of writing than poetry or straight prose. They're certainly written differently, organized differently, and the reader has different expectations. I think the fact that they also come out of a tradition of anonymity and not expantant of money or praise makes them different. They're like messages in a bottle or shards of pottery that are picked up and shared.

>> No.10901312

>>10901232
Be adaptive. Assuming you are a man, and you are, engage in all senses. Touch her sensually without being overtly sexual. Say things that are subtly sexy. Posture yourself as masculine, as well as sexually inviting; eye contact that conveys desire.

Do anything and everything that aesthetically implies sex until it's so obvious that she is aroused.

I'm using a lot of "buzzwords" here, but you really should pay attention to the subtext in film and literature when it comes to romantic intimacy. One does not simply throw a woman on a bed and insert his penis. I mean, you could, but the most satisfaction to be had is to have some sort of tension.
Keep in mind that foreplay is very much a dance, with ebbs and flows of what actions and behaviors work in a given situation. Certain emotions might dominate from one moment to the next. It could be lust now and love later, and vice versa.
The only wrong move is to just be stagnant without creating anything she can react to. Furthermore, everything you do should be reactive to her as well. Try to understand when to advance the foreplay closer to sex, when to prolong the current level, when to bring it back just bit, and so on. Communicate on every level- touch her, talk to her.
Realize that you will not get better at this without doing it in the first place. Don't let the thought of failure or making a mistake stop you from trying, because not trying will hold you back from getting better anyway.

I have taken to calling it neo-modernism. Compare how honestly well this is written to >>10898664, which is pretty much the same style but in a more traditional form (as in block text rather than green text). The two are stylistically similar, minimalist but focusing on emotions and snapshots. That's something that strikes me about neo-modernism is how the descriptions don't really flow in a sense. This doesn't mean they are hard to read, but rather it is like you are reading a series of frames rather than a moving reel.
The themes seem to be self-doubt, bitterness, seclusion, and in the end some sort of universal beauty that the protagonist had missed out on in their earlier life but finds redemption in throughout the story.

The paranoia, the fear of intimacy and the existential despair... I think snapshots does describe this very well. Moods, atmosphere, a kiss, gentle caresses, quiet dusk and casting a glance... I hope some day a Marina will step into my life...
