10847181 No.10847181[DELETED]  [Reply] [Original]

What makes people from the first world who clearly will never endure the hardship of peasant live centuries ago or even the lives of being in a violent thirld world shithole, kill themselves?

Is there any true that life without struggle is meaningless?

wouldn't people in heaven desire to kill themselves because you will be like in a church sunday praying to god for the rest of eternity?

You should not be discussing something you have no capacity of conceiving even as potentiality. The funny part is, you probably can, but refuse to because that would mean facing your own mind. Either that or you're a sociopath, which makes you just as easy to completely dismiss from having any say in this discussion.

>>10847181

It is actually a belief for many that "struggle" as a primal concept is the starting point for our thought. I'd say that, it is definitely true that you will long for this struggle if you have grown into this mindset at least. Naturally, because our current project of modernity seems to eliminate this struggle in favor of weak representations of it, people are going to be disappointed and disenfranchised from their own lives. For all the other people who do not seek to extract difference (or at the very least do not care about the presence of it) from "Oneness" or whatever you want to call it, it probably doesn't matter either way, and this goes for most kind of stoics, hippies, "chill" people and the like. These people are hardly going to suicide even if they don't give a fuck about life in itself.

Of course, because you have specified first world, I am purposely excluding things such as someone jumping from a factory roof in China because of their shitty life conditions. There was actually a topic weeks ago in /lit/ asking something along the lines of "Has anyone ever actually committed suicide from their philosophy/thought process?" and many of the answers there would fit nicely here. 'Physical struggle' I'd say also still remains in the first world, but I actually think it has always caused less suicide than sentimental/psychological matters.

You know glorifying serf life to some utopic level is just as deluded as seeing peasant (which is a big step up from serf) life as slavery in houses made of manure.

It leaves out:
-Being able to be literally bought and sold with land and in Russia to factory owners
-Not being allowed to leave your village without explicit permission from your noble.
-Not being allowed to marry who you want without explicit permission from your noble.
-Not being able to have legal recourse if your noble commits physical abuse.
-Being prematurely aged by physical labour and lack of medicine.
-Huge rates of infant mortality and death in childbirth.
-Having almost all of your labour and work go to your noble.
-Almost zero social mobility.
ect

This, unironically. People have been taught that there is no intrinsic value to anything, so they are absolutely defenceless against the enshrined cultural norms of immediate gratification and mental distraction. Because of this, most people are incredibly uncomfortable in solitude and anything that forces them to look at how empty they are makes them recoil in revulsion. It's really, really sad.

Poorer people (within limits) are ironically happier than you'd think, and perhaps even happier than the more affluent. They're closer to the reality of life, they have more to occupy their minds. They don't get as depressed because they literally don't have time to. People have the wrong idea that rest and leisure is satisfying and work is boring. Really, the right kind of work is better than any leisure. What time do you have to be depressed when you're doing something practical, real, and which sets your mind, emotions, and body to a different task? If you're working on a farm all day and have all these little goals, no matter insignificant, it'll keep your mind off of a feeling of the boredom and meaninglessness of life.

We suffer from a lack of work.

reminder: tradfags and bugmen are the same species of lower life. both these wretched states we find 21st century many falling into are predicated upon a false image of history and one’s sense of worth. the bug thinks the future is his, has been already conquered, is waiting for him to take an Uber to its gates and that he will be able to chip swipe his way into immortality, endless anime robot sex and certain knowledge of the validity of fedora metaphysics, the divinity of matter confirmed in the terraformed wastes of distant worlds. the tradfags whom are a kind of inverse bug man (but it should be noted that higher men have nothing in common with the bug and thus they did not degenerate into the bug) are the racial memory of the detritus of the old world. these plodding peasant beasts who were treated with absolute disdain, distance and even malice by the rulers have long hoped to crawl back to their old dog houses, to take up the ho and the rake, the shovel and the lomb as this is the only reason they have been brought into being. this is a kind of preambling senility before total mortification of the spirit. they act out past lives, cycle through a whole age of behaviors their equally reprehensible ancestors had made their religion. the christfaggot insect of the fields, the bread people, the beer people, the vine pickers and field hands; manure stained pairs of legs who made the world bearable for delicate types fit for the actual faculties of Living Mind.

Now the tradfag is at his end, he can no longer make his way in the world as a soldier, factory worker, clerk, trucker, welder, plumber or any other skilless-skilled profession, he now faces his end in the world of quantifiable productivity. You see mechanization, the great cannibal maw of the human constructed industrial parks seemed a kind of exaltation of his type. The laborers, children of the fields brought into a new realm of toil, these were a kind of priviledged slave animal that thought itself indispensable and as worthy of dignity as their forebears in the fecal expanses of the feudal world. Now this must all come to a close, the machines are our slaves, and the men who remain must be drawn from the clever artisans, merchants and ministers of the feudal period; these men who were always halfway ennobled spirits, they are the bug, familiar and in their element among the bone crushing gears of techno-capital.

So, the tradfag and the bug, two servile types bred expressly to better provide for the fragile, incomprehensibly greedy constitutions of the beautiful ones, both of these need to be seen as essentially one and the same. The advantage that the bug, accurately deduced by many physionomists as simply the proto-middle class of older eras, has taken over our good peasant animal is not one to boast of. We do not do right by ourselves to spit in the face of these hallucinating condemned things as the bug will be broken and discarded just as they were in due time.

These kind of claims are always empty. Of course everything is physical, with emergence creating the illusion of ego and so on and so on. So what to the person who is perceiving their suffering as mental? You're not gonna make them realize something, "click" and then they are no longer willing to commit suicide. It makes no sense even from the meme utilitarian point of view, to insist on not assuming the illusion of dualism when dealing with those who suffer from this perception. We have to do it until the meds are better (for now, they are always temporary - it is always possible to fall back into "mental" suffering, rewiring would be a true solution).
