Are Pocket Penguins worth getting? There's 40 of them and they seem to cover quite a lot of good authors but I am completely unfamiliar with a number of them and am unsure if it's worth getting the entire collection, a selected few or just stick to another publisher?

they're cheap and they feel cheap - even by Penguin's already quite low standard - and usually they are extracts from a longer short story collection, so if you actually want to seriously read the author in question they're not a great choice, you might as well get a better quality edition with more stories.
