You probably can, it just depends on the material. I checked out one of those pop commercial nonfiction fiction books the other day, the kind you see people reading at airports, and finished the two hundred pages in one sitting. Before I'd been struggling to get through more than 20 pages of Baudrillard in a day. It sincerely depresses me that that this is the exact type of reading that the "I don't read fiction" crowd prizes above novels because "it's about something that actually happened."
