I would go farther than that and say that all YouTube "thinkers" were a mistake. I remember back in the late 00s YouTube was swamped with fedora tippers jerking off their egos and now we have to deal with a bunch of wannabe political activists who are just as pretentious and egotistical as the old fedora tippers. It's all so insufferable.

the people who are suffering economically are a minority
i say fear of suffering economically is a bigger factor, thats what keeps democrats in check, nothing you do will prevent people from thinking fuck, shit, im next.

maybe thats because people favoured debt over savings? im sure that the massive influx of cheap foreing products and the money hungry banks had a lot to do with it but ultimately people chose this

these are some terrible responses friend.

wages have been stagnant for the past several decades. its not a surprise that debt is their recourse.

its not an unreasonable belief. worsening income inequality, stagnant wages, automation, rising healthcare/housing/education costs. people are right to believe their children will be worse off.

and look up america's gini index compared to other advanced nations.

ok lets start with the obvious
i wonder where these new upper class people are coming from
maybe if there is less middle class people and more upper class people that means that thinking your kids have less chances now is moronic
if there is less class mobility its centralised entirely on lower class people, probably because of the massive influx of higly educated people in the market pushing them away
which of course is going to cause wages to become stagnant but that only means class mobility takes longer not that it happens any less
>rising healthcare/housing/education costs
healthcare costs are a valid concern
housing is just a bubble because they are stringing along a bunch of people gentrifying areas, its a scam.
education its its own thing, its only getting more expensive because its becoming more and more pointless, most people in university dont need to go to university and dont benefit from it

Classical liberalism is such a failed revolutionary ideology it's not even funny, even anarcho-capitalism is more realistic. It's proven by history that there's no such thing as a "minimal state", sovereignty is uncontrollable, the results of its application in today's world won't result in anything but "neoliberalism". Illuminism was a mistake, it attacked the only thing holding society together and saving souls: Catholicism. Illuminism was the source for all modern trash including rationalism, skepticism, socialism, nationalism, liberalism, humanism, etc. It began before that though, with protestantism, and even before that, with the start of separation between Church and imperial powers. But these things were inevitable since there's an end to history, to which we're pretty close.

>> No.10685412

And of course americans are totally blind to this, since their country was founded by freemasons based on this trash. Their history began in the 18th century and they can't look past it. They are doomed to drown in their shit.

What part do you not understand?
Liberals stand for capitalism. Free markets, land ownership, that whole thing.

"Progressive liberals" co-opted the U.S. socialist movement of over a hundred years ago, salvaged capitalism during the FDR administration (where they picked up the name New Deal Democrats) In Europe they are simply called social-democrats, and they're middle of the road compromisers. Meeting socialist reformers halfway and making Europe into what it is today. Strong unionism, a comfy social safety-net... But not still capitalist. IE not left. Merely left capitalism. A mostly duplicitous attempt to sanitize the systemic rot of capitalism.

The real left take exception at the mislabeling campaign. We are unified against capital.
