a more pronounced theme withing american (alt)right wing (unlike the euro one) is WASP/protestant work ethic antiintellectualism.

That mentality leads to idiotic Comteian belief in science and STEMism.

How do we establish a balance between being men of action who use intellect but dont over or underintellectualize things, and worst of all think that they rejected postmodernity but remain technocratic?

he is well read but not overread - he is good as a critque men/leader/organizer, but not that impressive as an intellectual honestly.

Problem of this boars is mindless french noir/leftist nihilism Sartre started type of intellectualism. But I wouldnt say /lit/ is not well read.
however, anti-intellectualism is often a sign of health and positive outlook on life.

>Also reminder it was Clinton campaign who first named them.

you mean in 2016? Nah, Spencer and Gotfried coined the term in 2012 when I first started fallowing them - its when he did series of interviews with Bowden.

Protestantism has an inescapable core of anti-intellectualism that goes all the way back to Luther. Sola Scriptura means that you don't need to know anything beyond the Bible to be a good Christian, and the priesthood of all believers means that somebody who has never studied the Bible can read it and interpret it, and their interpretation is just as valid as that of a Doctor of the Church.

"Protestant intellectual" is an oxymoron, like jumbo shrimp. No matter how learned a Protestant scholar becomes, they are shackled to the hatred of reason and learning at the core of their various sects.

Pretty sure WASPs are the polar opposite of anti-intellectual, rich New York and New England types. And I say this as a southerner. Unless you're using the term generally.

The European far right is equally full of fags and morons, take for example that Martin Sellner identitarian hipster dude from Austria. The common theme that links identitarians to alt righters and lgbt gender larpers is the loss of identity, these people have lost every sense of identity and meaning, so they resort to a cartoon.

Based!
All "intellectual" nations moved left as time passed (France), while anti-intelelctual protestants lead the way with scientific discovery and MIGHT (which is also right).

I mean generally, their intellectualism was always low tier - all Anglos are shitty philosophers, but being a philosopher doesnt equal wisdom.
Sometimes its wise to think with works.

I meant GRECE/French New Right spergism, Sellner bring results and is more altRight than the former.
