I did. It dropped the ball HARD at the end by putting all the meta shit out in the open, and that just ruined it for me. And in the middle, even when it was at its best, it still did some stuff that made me groan, and it handled things poorly sometimes. Like the screen effects when you find Sayori hanging in her room, instead of just showing it it has to be like, "LOOK, IT'S AN ANIME GIRL.... BUT SHE KILLED HERSELF!!!!! ISN'T THAT FUCKED UP OMGGG!!!!!"
It was at its best when the reader was supposed to put it all together, and when the characters were dropping not-so-subtle but not overt hints at their problems. Overall it was pretty good, but it really defeated itself in the end and soured my opinion of it.
Weak 6/10, maybe a 7.

I was seriously disappointed that it was only focused on gay amateur poetry and retarded 4th wall breaking meta-garbage. It was obvious within a minute that the game was self-aware to a retarded degree. Only held my attention for about an hour. Pretty weak effort.

It was getting pretty scary at the second playthrough but when monika tells you that she messed with their personalities, so they're not actually like this, and then tells you that they are just programmed to like you completely destroys the characters, that is the best thing it had. When you explain horror, its not scary anymore, and since all the characters are just "game characters" there's nothing much else to it. But its fun, as long as you're not expecting something like saya no uta.
