I need a starting point. Could someone suggest to me some basic material. I couldn't tell you much from history/government classes I took in highschool. Nothing really stuck.

I am taking interest in politics seeing how chaotic it all seems to be getting. I don't know wtf people are talking about though and it is painful to be ignorant or to have an opinion that isn't supported by much.

P.S. If you are posting /pol/ shit then please say so. Not that I am against it but I want to know if you are

I read the Economist weekly for five years, received my undergraduate degree in international affairs, and tried my heart out to become a political connoisseur in every way. And guess what I am now? A white nationalist. Pol had nothing to do with that transition, but as soon as I understood the JQ, after all that senseless work, it all suddenly made sense. You have to understand the jewish question if you want to understand politics and how the world works in general. Anyone who doesn't is only pretending they understand those things, as I once pretended I understood.

start with what you're interested in.
There's probably a book about the history and the politics/laws/regulation of it.

Or you can find something really broad, like oil or technology.

First get the facts so ideologists like /pol/ won't eat your brain. Read books on history, I have three to recommend that can give you the grounding you need, they are Tragedy & Hope, 1491, and The Anglo-American Establishment. After that read whatever orientation, but if you feel like I recommend The Anarchist FAQ.

Read marx. Don't listen to what anyone tells you about marx, sit down and actually read marx. Then read the actual history of the ussr, because most of what you've been told is utter historical revisionism.

World history atm is in the monopoly capitalism stage. Unlike what most people/school/whatever will have you believe, neoliberalism is an ideology that prevailed when the bourgeoisie toppled feudalism through armed revolution. it followed a retrogressive course, with the first liberal state lasting merely for a few years (great revolution, uk). Marx will give you a good grasp of political economy and historical materialism. Two crucial things are for you to be able to exercise dialectical thought and critique, and also understand how materialism evolved from idealism.

Now if you really want to read what will basically go down in history as world changing in a few years, read vaziulin. for that though, you must know greek, german or russian. If you know greek, you can even go further and read Dimitris Patelis' books that are to be published in a year or 2.

I agree. But I never said it was like that anyway. Jews are tribal people who gain power through ethnic nepotism and do not act meritocracally. Technically that does involve "conspiring" but I know you aren't interested in the actual definition of the term.

No one said "jews control the world," dude. But you are still fundamentally lacking an understanding of the jewish question. That's okay, so did I once. It's a complicated subject but if you are white you owe it to yourself to try to understand it better. Jews have very different interests than white people, and when they are allowed to gain as much power over our institutions as they have, they wield that power in specific ways that more often than not are not beneficial to white people. If you want to look into how this manifests itself read Culture of Critique; it'll give you an entry level understanding.

Regardless of what country you're from, I'd say start with the Federalist papers and the Anti-federalist papers.

Federalist:
http://www.let.rug.nl/usa/documents/1786-1800/the-federalist-papers/the-federalist-1.php

Anti-federalist:
http://thefederalistpapers.org/anti-federalist-papers

These will allow you to understand the pragmatism of how modern governments, specifically liberal republics, are constructed, and why they're constructed in this such way.

These are a good starting point because they are readily understandable where fundamental political texts like Leviathan aren't as salient anymore.

Once you read these, then go back to the Greeks starting with Plato's Apology, to understand why democracy is fucking tyrannical, and then to England.

In the end of your studies you should understand that every possible permutation of distribution of powers will fail to safeguard the individual dignity and sanctity of the human person thus the state must be full decentralized to the point of abolition.

>Subscription to economist because my Yuropean immigrant father remembered how great it was in the 60s
>not great, but better than fucking Newsweek or w/e, read mostly for good "outside America" news
>gradual decline in quality over the ten years I am subscribed
>at least their shitty opinions are still presented alongside accurate and objective presentations of fact, mostly
>2015 suddenly quality nosedives, notice they are actively misrepresenting and fudging campaign coverage
>literally a step removed from CNN
>subscription runs out in February 2017, don't renew, why pay for shit opinions AND no more objective fact-based coverage?
>months pass, read a few online articles to see them shitting themselves over Trump
>suddenly discover that the Economist "attained" its first ever female editor in 2015

And that is what it took to destroy a publication that lasted for over a century and a half, that survived the potato famine, the Battle for Britain, decolonization, The Troubles, and the Cold War.

Womameme writers, not even once.
