The funny thing about other artists is that the only way they ever feel truly acknowledged for their work is when a writer describes how their work is profound.

They're literally so subordinated that they depend on the recognition of writers to have any meaning in the world

i'm a musician, albeit a bad one.
i think that about 9/10 artists in any field. people generally try too hard to impress, and come out with some tacky bullshit with no substance or individuality.
literature in itself is something that i have a hell of a lot of respect for.
