1, we don't live in history anymore, so unless this study was only done on people 50+ that's irrelevant. Unless you're saying IQ is somehow inheritable for children of the same gender (Dad IQ 50, Mom IQ 75 = boy IQ 55, girl IQ 70), which doesn't actually disprove that chart rather than explain it.
2, How so? Before the modernist and post-modernist eras of comfort and individuality women had totally different positions in society and those positions often didn't involve much intellect, risk or danger. It's unfortunate that most of history wasn't as cushy as our modern lives but 100+ years ago, for most of society, reproducing was of critical importance and that was the job most women were given and reproducing doesn't require much intelligence and the risk involved has nothing to do with intelligence but rather medical history/genetics/age/etc.
