Anti-natalism is basically negative utilitarianism. ‘Minimize suffering’, and the easiest way to achieve this goal is to stop reproducing, or commit suicide. The latter is counterproductive. I do not know why people have such a big problem with anti-natalism. You do not have to kill yourself, simply do a vasectomy and you can have plenty of dirty sex and pleasurable orgies. I assume that most anti-natalist are also pessimists, which means that they think life is mostly suffering. To bring a child into the world is to maximize suffering. The child would experience the same ennui you do, and in a hopeless strive for happiness the suffering would still be there. I know we all suffer, everything else is a lie. If suffering and pain is a negative sensation, why would force that negative sensation onto others?
