Good evening /lit/,
I recently watched Ex Machina and have a craving for a book about a love between a human and an AI or an android.

The issue is, there is a massive collection of AI books and such. SO I was hoping someone here could narrow down the search with a good recommendation.

As I say, I am looking for something where a Human and an AI or android fall in love.
Ideally it will be a romantic book.

Her is an excellent rendition of this type of story.
It makes fantastic use of the three act format.

First the AI is less than human, then tries to become as human as possible.
Final act is the realisation that it will never be human.

Would highly recommend.
Also a very pretty movie.

If you are really interested in AI read something by someone that at least grasps the concept. What you probably are looking for is non-human romance novels, Lilith's Brood is the closest I can recomend.

Asuming this is not bait, AI will revolutionize language to such an extent that a superintelligence might have "words" larger than the combined literary works of pre-20th century humanity.

The main potential force of change in the universe is intelligence. A 1.5 kg fleshy mass was the sole responsible agent of the entire human race, now imagine something exponentially more complex coming into being.

You want to read the "His Robot Patience" series. It's a series about a guy buying, falling in love with and eventually marrying a robot girl. I've read them all and thought they were pretty good. The first book is free but my favorite is the third novel. They're all on smashwords and amazon.
