Analytical philosophy is pretty much maths, while continental philosophy is an old (dead white) guy ranting about random shit.

Wait a second, people don't actually think that continental philosophy has rigour and belongs in an academic setting (apart from as a "history of thought" type thing) right?

You wouldn't actually take Nietzsche's ramblings seriously in an academic setting, right?

have you ever even been to college?

fortunately for you, most college's neuter continental thought to "history of philosophy" type classes. any nietzsche lecture i've watched/listened to, whether from yale or UofC or what have you, has been abominable. modern university doesn't seem to be the place for that kind of thought.
