If the vast majority of the people on this board made the decision not to bullshit/fuck around, /lit/ could've actually published a book filled with anonymous GOOD short stories/discussions that were originally published on a fucking website. Everyone and no one owns it simultaneously. No one author can be critiqued genuinely because "everyone" is the author. The stories within the book could've been critiqued based on their merit alone and not by the author's background, his/her philosophical ideas or their personal preferences.

You could've embodied the very idea of anonymous via literature, but you chose to squander it. It's like seeing someone transmute gold into dog shit before your very eyes.

Some people who post on /lit/ can write well, and a subset of those people can even write with exceptional prose. I've read some good short stories on /lit/, and even some good debates/discussions on philosophy.
