This art is called The Death of Socrates, right? Why does it seems like Plato(the old man sitting at the foot of the bed) is the one dying and not Socrates? It seems like David was under some heavy drugs to make Plato old man.

"The personal life of Max Stirner would be marked by such tragedies. During the period that he was employed as an unpaid Latin teacher, he and Agnes Butz became husband and wife. Butz would later die in childbirth. However, it is rumored that after seeing his wife completely nude could never touch her, Max Stirner refused to touch her. Stirner’s second wife, Marie Dähnhardt, would claim that their marriage had been more of cohabitation than a legitimate love match."

Phoenix Rising: Firebase Freedom by William Johnstone. He has a whole series of books like this, I think

>"Phoenix Rising: Firebase Freedom" by William W. Johnstone & J. A. Johnstone is an interesting book. It is fiction but in today’s political climate it seems it could be very real. The President of the United States, Mehdi Ohmshidi, won the election with the promise of “fundamentally transforming America.” His changes are not as expected. President Ohmshidi announces that he has always been Muslin and will be turning America into an Islamic nation. Under presidential orders all Americans must now declare their beliefs and allegiance to Allah. Jake Lantz, a war veteran, along with a group of American patriots, form an alliance known as the Phoenix Group. They set up camp and do whatever it takes to restore the United States of America to its original condition. It involves going against all of the New Order’s rules. They are more than willing to do whatever it takes even when it includes stealing, murdering, lying and cheating to win.

>"Phoenix Rising" got my attention from the very first word. This book is the political answer to the 'Left Behind Series'. It is very real and scary, because this can really happen today or tomorrow or next week or next month. Johnstone gives us a very real peek into a future that no longer allows the freedoms we have fought for and defended since America was founded. "Phoenix Rising" is, however, a fictional story with strong characters and an intriguing plot. It is a definite page turner that will keep you up late into the night. Johnstone captures your imagination and keeps you wanting more. I am eagerly looking forward to the next book in this series. "Phoenix Rising: Firebase Freedom" is a five star winner.

Socrates is preaching on his death bed in this photo. Hence his pose. All of the people looking all dejected around him are various disciples. His physique is a result of the idealization which is a characteristic of classical art, realism doesn't exist yet. His pose has actually been borrowed from a renaissance painter whose name fails to come to mind at the moment. If you look closely you can see his wife way in the background unable to take the pain because women are weak and blah blah blah

Hey Faggots,

My name is Oscar, and I hate every single one of you. All of you are fat, retarded, no-lifes who spend every second of their day reading books and fapping over female protagonists. You are everything bad in the world. Honestly, have any of you ever gotten any dick? I mean, I guess it's fun making fun of people because of your own insecurities, but you all take to a whole new level. This is even worse than jerking off to women.

Don't be a stranger. Just hit me with your best shot. I'm pretty much perfect. I won the Newdigate Prize, wrote many successful plays and met the Pope. What have you done, other than troll insecure fags? I also get lots of cock, and have a banging hot lover (He just blew me; Shit was SO cash). You are all straight-fags who should just kill yourselves. Thanks for listening.

Hey c/lit/s,

My name is Dostoyevsky, and I hate every single one of you. All of you are uncultured, superficial barbarians who spend every second of their day reading mediocre books. You are everything bad in the world. Honestly, have any of you even dissected human nature? I mean, I guess it's fun making fun of people because of your own convoluted prose, but you all take to a whole new level. This is even worse than overanalyzing Joyce.

Don't be a stranger. Just hit me with your best shot. I'm pretty much perfect. I was the best writer of the 19th-century, and became the father of modern-day existentialism. What do you do, other than "jack off to idealistic post-modern novels"? Thanks for reading.

looking past the homoerotic "hrhrhr humorous undertone" of that pic, Miguel's shift there is rather misunderstood.
First off, his archaeology did not deal with syntax. it dealt with a structure more fundamental than that. it dealt with rules deep in our collective unconscious which guide the very manifestation of our entire methods of inquiry, rules which define the borders between related objects and how we are to gauge these relations.(think resemblance and reflection)
then we have his shift to geneaology, which places more emphasis on the historical forces (i'm guessing that was what the "we" in that quote was supposed to refer to) responsible for the shift in the archaeological rules, though here we must take into consideration that the agents of these historical forces were governed by "those archaeologically excavated rules of that time" themselves! which doesn't fully capture the externality required for such a change to take place at all. This external force must transcend the archaeological rules if they are to change them (they must thus transcend the unconscious of the people which caused it, or rather the agent's unconcious must transcend the rules which are responsible for the causing! they must transcend--the people themselves???", and here we are nearing the borders of /x/,
his historiography falls short..because it is easy to pin point the abstracted historical forces which did the shifting of paradigms IN RETROSPECT; yet we still cannot target the externality which produced a mutation in the archaeological rules (which then lead to a greater cultural mutation of the COLLECTIVE archaeological rules, leading to epistemic shift) in the people which spearheaded the historical shift itself. if we are to believe that these people were part of that specific unconscious (which they would change, but only if they themselves underwent change) , we must then wonder about how a shift was brought on in those who brought on the shift

le hint: miguel doesn't account for le based biological evolution as the hermeneutic of the contingent factors of chance, opting instead for a retrospective analysis rather than a loosely predictive model,

but stan, geneaology isnt supposed to transcend the retrospect.

or is it...

is it?

shut the fuck up

so talking about dank shit coming in the mail, i've been going ham on these unscheduled drugs shipped from 3rd world countries.
mainly extract powders, and they're legal because no one knows about them.

needless to say, a cupfull of chacruna extract later and i'm mining the depths of our phallic godhead, pulling sex dragons out my dickhole etc

and this sceletium extract, mine african american, let me tell you, like a cup of GHB i am become furniture

I gave kratom another try a few days ago since you mentioned it but it was headshop garbage. I'll probably try ordering some online but my apartment's shitty about packaging and I don't know how discreet those things actually are.

anyway I don't really get how the historical-genealogical-archaeological processes are all generating and being generated by each other at the same time but I bet it has something to do with critique and some sort of prolapse

idk, like the 'lizard brain' or w/e in pop-sci terms, I guess, the structures you don't really have access to yet which have a profound effect on your current state or something

archaeology is just the study of old things so what does that mean in reference to thought, anyway
