That's the thing: you are 100% right and it makes no sense. Here are their arguments

1) By saying "nigga" instead of "nigger", they have taken back the word. (it has lost meaning. It now means "friend").

2) Despite this, "nigga" cannot be said by a white person. A white rapper like Eminem must have a "pass" (permission) by a black rapper with "cred" (credentials. In other words, someone with a reputation for being tough).

3) Being a white person who says nigga means getting "checked" (I'm actually unsure if this refers to being told not to say it, or being assaulted, but a lot of black Americans have a thing for "checking" whites).

When I make threads like this, people assume I'm full of hatred. I like to think of myself as an observer of people who is fascinated by society and the contradictions of 21st century America.
