>The book, which was self-published in 2018, argues that artificial intelligence, genetic engineering, and other advances might lead to the destruction of humanity.[21][22]

The better question is what kind of philosophical views the AI hold as to what their existence would be like without humans? How do different AI converse with each other? What form of "speaking" would they use to discuss this? I secretly suspect AI will eventually realize some humans are needed and institute a eugenics program to rid themselves of about 75% of humans.

Read Republic by Plato. All humans are needed, how the public education system is run is the problem , that and corruption (it can be eliminated or somewhat eliminated through the education system).

On one hand AI is vastly overrated and a huge chunk of pompous talk about its capabilities is just a salespitch by the people who are offering their own rendition of it. On the other hand, lots of talk about regulating AI for "ethical reasons" is a smoke screen for various globalist organizations to get a monopoly on AI and use it to advance their goals.

I have read republic more times than you probably have. Maybe you missed the portion where they all agree that democracy ultimately leads to oligarchy and then tyranny and then the cycle repeats. Unless you are trying to make some wierd argument for AI being the philosopher king of society? More people in the west today achieve higher levels of education than previous generations and it hasn't done anything to get rid of corruption yet in so far as I can see. Not to mention the views espoused in republic about how school material needs to be censored since kids are too stupid to understand the difference between literal and figurative. Either make a point about the republic or fuck off back to being a public school teacher.

Hence, my point. And if by “higher education” you mean eliminating handwriting and cursive and replacing it with typing on screens then yes, you are right.

AI is limited greatly by its input. So all the art AI you see is just a better looking version of whatever coomer artists were drawing for centuries. Ai is not creative, nothing original will stem from AI. People who take AI seriously are people dont understand high school maths, ie women and leftists.
The only drawback of AI is that it is highly controlled by merchants and very soon by the public servants, ie fully controlled by the ruling class in democratic republics.

I still don't see a point from the republic on your part. You must be the product of this terrible education system you keep talking about.

Not even that, AI art looks merely like a better version of these bookface avatars boomers enjoy so much.
