My first inclination upon reading a few excerpts of Wilson's translation was that it was so bad that it was likely a tool to degrade Homer such that he would be easier to remove from the canon. On a second read, most of it is actually reasonable, but the ridiculous part is that women aren't attracted to incels because are so "by choice". The fundamental problem is that it's something incels are incapable of getting. They are too powerless, unmotivated, underdeveloped, etc. to have success with girls. And the real kicker is when they don't think they are capable of growing to the level - a repellent lack of self-responsibility, ambition, and confidence.
