That said, motivation lifted from short phrases and videos is a fleeting thing. In time the effect of novelty wears off, and the mind is distracted by many things which depress it.
Long-term motivation comes from constant deference to your teachers (in the literal sense, or the long-dead authors you read, or simply people who lived the sort of life you'd like to), from the mutual encouragement of, and competition with, like-minded people, and the support of your closest friends.

Sure, you can be good at something, but that doesn't mean it will amount to anything. You can spend 5 years to become the best at sucking your own dick, but that doesn't mean shit. That's what most writing is, people just sucking their own dick.

It comes down to what type of blowjob you're giving. Not only this, but you are delivering product, you are delivering "grape" to the mouth of the audience, and this makes you the provider.

This is the way to remain true to yourself, because you're not asking "what flavor do you want?", you're saying "I am grape, and I'm going to grape you", you're not compromising on yourself, and beyond that, when you embrace the spirit of the philosopher, you are doing this in an unstoppable high-octane way that proves you're the real deal, that any brick wall you might come against, your're going to smash through that motherfucker because you're a grape on a mission, and you know that deep down, the kids are asking for it, they're begging to be graped, and at that point, you find yourself with endowed with unshakable conviction and immutable vigor that compels you to accomplish what you have so boldly and fearlessly claimed to intent to accomplish.
