Not me. I'm going to cry when my mommy dies.

because you'll have to take care of yourself from now on?

Nah, because I'm not as hard as you. You don't give a shit and that's cool! But I'm not so cool.

I didn't mean to imply that caring for your parents is unusual or disagreeable
You merely sounded overtly attached to your mother by calling her "mommy" in a conversation with a stranger
It gives off the impression of an overgrown child who lives with his parents into adulthood

but you're not in a conversation with a stranger, you're posting anonymously on an imageboard. Understand the difference.

it is still weird to use that word
while it is conceivable he used the word for comic effect it is also likely he was being serious as many people on this site are like what I described

Whatever makes you feel good. Why don't we start from scratch, why is OP so much like Mersault. Only serious answers in this thread please.

I just finished this book last night. The only thing I don't get; why were his temples always pounding? It's mentioned like a dozen times throughout the story. I'm not sure I recognize the significance other than him maybe being very annoyed, obsessing about something arguably trivial given the situations he was in, or literally just dehydrated on a hot day.

Many headache types affect the temples

I used to really like Camus but it for some reason it became mainstream in these recent years and now everything that happened with Schopenhauer and Nietzsche is happening all over again with Camus. People are just taking phrases and the final image of an idea without properly understanding what led to the conclusion. Like how a shit ton of atheists where saying shit like "god is ded wuewuewue" and then the most stupid of people would respond with even more braindead responses like that movie about "god not being dead" which just makes me more sad and angry about; how when something of the "niche" becomes mainstream it gets raped by normies. I want to cry.
