Existentialism is a complete joke right?

The only French philosopher worth reading was Descartes and he wasn't even fully French. Anything after the French revolution is trash.

Why does it feel like Absurdism is only a stepping stone and not the end road?

Because after you realize the world is rudderless and without guide or meaning the next logical step is to impose your own meaning upon it. Which typically represents a more authoritarian world-view. The reason we may imagine Sisyphus as happy is because he has finally broken his chain and is about to impose his will upon the world once more.

I can not say as I've not read first sources, what I have read comes from other people commenting on his work and cliff notes as his work does not interest me. I disagree with some of his ideas, like the content acceptance that one hopes to find in the repetition of a banal existence. I think his thought his incomplete in that strong men are given to instinctively break change placed upon them, like Sisyphus did with Death. As I said the reason we may imagine Sisyphus as happy is because he is almost free again, free to impose his dominion on those who had previously imposed theirs on him.

Solved philosophy right there.

Well if he were'nt happy, or at least fine enough with his situation, then he would have just let thr rock crush him. If he didn't then that must mean that at least the situation was tolerable and he wasn't that desperate.

Please read Camus before discussing him as nothing you have said in this post is in any way reflective of his philosophy.

Think how boring life would be if had to just sit around doing nothing, rather than having a boulder to shoulder up the mountain every day.
