Swap out power with create and there you go. “Power” in the Western world is a very childish take on what he actually meant. He doesn’t just mean power as in political power or telling other people to do stuff. You can think of the will to power kind of like the libido from Jung. It’s a “life force” or energetic fervor that truly drives you.

Reducing it to “might makes right do what I say” is literal sub room temperature iq commie trash. It goes far deeper than that.

Always bothers me when people lean on the “b-but nazi propaganda!” argument. Nietzsche’s thought is not without risk, and by collapsing certainty in objective truths he inevitably opened the door for others to abuse his own writings and serve their own interests. But that’s such a simple-minded way to approach his ideas. There is always risk to ANY ambitious philosophical project, and if there isn’t, then the reality is that you aren’t saying anything novel. But to shy away from the challenge that Nietzsche’s thought poses, simply because someone else used his words for seemingly nefarious ends, is cowardly and regressive.

The entire point of radical Nietzschean self-reinvention is that you don’t have to accept these interpretations from fascists making clumsy associations between the overman and the aryan for the sake of propaganda- you are more than welcome to create your own interpretation, one that weaponises Nietzsche against the nazi appropriation of his works and that completely blows apart the foundations of fascism which rely upon a specific racialised reading of Nietzsche.

uhhhh I don't know what to tell you sweetie. I frequently posted this image across many boards, the evidence of which is indisputable. As there was no other 'jakker posting said 'jak during the same time frame (it was criminally underutilised), following which there has been a resurgence in it's use, I think the evidence points in the sole direction that my posting was THE contributing factor to it's popularisation.
