What makes a book entry-/lit/ and not top-tier intelligent 145+ IQ but also not midwit trash loser bargain-bin literature?

Apparently something you could see featured in a high school curriculum
Easy to read, straightforward themes and morals, just challenging enough so it can be classified as literature but still approachable for new readers

A redpill that a lot of “entry level” stuff is also “exit level”. A lot of those beginner books are the best in literature

They don't give out entertaining or interesting books, instead, they give out boring shit that just makes you hate reading.

yeah kek i read To Kill A Mockingbird, 1984, Catcher in the Rye, Fahrenheit 451, Great Gatsby, Of Mice and Men, Dorian Gray, Lord of the Flies, AND Huckleberry Finn in school. Some in middle school, not even in high school. And I've heard of some of the others being taught in school as well.
i guess that's the point of "introductory" literature though.

I don't know what the exact requirements are but James Joyce's Dubliners is a good example of what you're looking for.

any book becomes a pseud book if you're reading it to be perceived as intelligent
