Kierkegaard is the best at explaining religiosity/faith. The Sickness Unto Death, Fear and Trembling, Either/Or, Concept of Anxiety, etc. I have faith and intuitively understand what he means about the different stages of life and all the struggles faced; I react the same way as he did to certain situations. There's no need to argue against atheists, just ignore them. This is from The Sickness Unto Death: one never needs to defend what they have faith in.
