I'm not looking for sociology desu, I'm looking for historical evidence and analysis. Basically instead of theories, I want books which analyze the real world examples. For instance, Anglo-American Establishment goes into different powerful groups such as the Round Table Movement and the Royal Institute for International Affairs

Plenty of sociologists will go through and analyse actual historical trends to draw out an answer. It's just the most interesting books to read tend to be the theoretical stuff. The whole field is founded on the premise that society is influenced by power.

And I'm saying read the historical stuff if you want to learn about specific instances of powerful groups exerting control over society. Foucault is a bit of a fried lord, but his books talk about times power groups in history have used institutions to control society.

I suppose you have a point that the Saudis are among the economic elites. In the political sphere however, they are much weaker than their level of wealth would suggest, and it would be more accurate to consider them as subservient to the Anglo order than as part of the Anglo order. For instance, see their persistent failures to have any impact on Middle Eastern affairs, as well as their huge dependence on American troops, despite the fact that they are one of the largest military spenders.

I understand your concerns but I have yet to have read a better history on the formation of the CIA.

Plenty of more mainstream journalists end up digging deeper then getting shunned. Gary Webb is probably the most famous example.
