My grandpa spoke at least five languages (German, French, English, Italian and Turkish - probably had some grasp of Latin and Greek as well), worked in IT in the 70s, collected ancient coins, drank whisky, smoked the pipe, he was writing an historical novel which he never completed. He got alzheimer/dementia at the end. He was bald and had a respectable belly.
Died age 80+.

I do not have the knowledge to evaluate if he spoke good Turkish. He was a native French/German speaker, understood everything in Italian (which he spoke with a heavy German accent), he had travelled to USA in the 70s as a manager for his company, I guess he was able to survive there.
