Is anarchism worth getting into?

>> No.18967903

No, I'd recommend you stick with Hellenistic philosophy, and don't waste your time with retardation like Marxism, Anarchism or Fascism.

Skip it and go to egoism. Move on to fascism. Ignore retard above me.

Fascism doesn't interest me, my flirting with Marxism didn't end well, but I want to give anarchism a shot, so I could at least understand it more deeply and gain substantive knowledge on the topic.

Anarchism stems from weakness, correct in it's assertions that being imposed upon is bad- but incorrect in it's calls for freedom for all individuals and thus denying higher beings from acting on their will to power.
>>18967915
So you do an objective downgrade to anarchism?

Not really, Übermensch is an aristocrat and an anarchist and it seems to fall in line with his opinions on the State and generally with his individuality oriented philosophy.

He gave a great analysis of both fascist and communist totalitarian regimes and their death camps for one.

Not until you start with the Greeks. Then you will quickly see that the anarchists are either immature idiots or unhinged savages, both evading their political duties to their compatriots while fleecing the benefits.
A commune of anarchists with political virtue is indistinguishable from a virtuous state. A commune of anarchists without virtue is a bucket of spiders.

This is a LARPing count! He never abandoned his estate, but liked to pretend to. A fucking imperial count with a fucking estate.
War and Peace gave him 25 000 rubles as a lump sum (10% royalty not included), he used them to buy 40 square KILOMETERS of land IN ADDITION to his already large estate. For Anna Karenina he bought a fucking forest in Ryazan Governorate, an house in Moscow and left about 3000 rubles for spare change. 3000 rubles in late XIX century are 84 kilograms of silver, or meagre 64 000 USD by modern prices of "spare change". That is a leftover from 20 000 rubles for Anna Karenina, a lump sum of 560 kilograms of silver. Half a fucking ton, or ~433 000 modern dollars in modern prices.
War and Peace gave him well over half a million dollars in modern silver prices that he used to cover one of his current land acquisitions, since his total estate was in tens of millions of modern USD at a minimum.
Russian silver ruble was 28 grams of silver, US silver dollar of late XIX century was ~27 grams of silver.
Silver dollars were minted in the US until 1904, so by using this link https://www.in2013dollars.com/us/inflation/1904?amount=1 you can see that 1 silver USD from 1904 is worth 30 dollars 67 cents now. Adjusting for silver content you get 31 modern dollars 80 cents for 1 silver ruble, so his payment for just handing over War and Peace manuscript was 795 000 dollars, again 10% from sales not included. Damn, silver kinda lost 15% its price or so in a hundred years.
He used it cover his current debt for buying 40 square kilometers of land. Writing was NOT his main income source or, God forbid, work.

The LARPing count you post is NOT poor. He can buy out your net worth probably five to ten times with his SPARE CHANGE. His "anarchism" is an upper class prestige belief, one you could NOT afford in a country infested with murderous nihilists to become commies, as described by Dostoyevsky in Demons. This is like proclaiming Black Lives Matter while living in a luxurious gated community of multimillionaires.

>Were "the association of men who do violence to count Leo Tolstoy" take a break at him personally, his own peasants would have murderfucked him that very day.
They could have murdered him every day, they never did.

>rubles dollars spare change
He renounced copyrights and signed everything to his family, never wanting to touch money again. Sure, you can call it a larp, would you do the same? Working in the fields and teaching russian peasants how to read?

Need I remind you what they did to the aristocracy in 1917-21?

>He renounced copyrights
>XIX and early XX century
>copyrights
You mean his book sales royalty? His average yearly income from theatre plays was around 1000 rubles a year average, or ~32k USD yearly of passive income. Also a personal fund of 2000 rubles he kept "just in case", again 64k dollars of "spare change".
Some bum. You could probably quadruple this sum for his yearly book sales royalty.
Nothing fucking changes, multimillionaires pretending to be bums for safety and cheap moralizing points (they don't actually risk anything at any time).

>and signed everything to his family
Including that meagre plot of land the size of Manhattan island he bought for War and Peace advance, yes. Gave to his wife, as if your own wife is an alien nobody. Instead of basically his estate manager since forever, because Tolstoy's management skills were abysmal.
His net worth was around 550 000 rubles, or around 18 million dollars.

Bakunin is worth the read because of his criticism (much like Marx) of the fact that classes of people recognize their shared interest and begin to work together to protect that shared interest against those outside their class. For Bakunin, this was "priest" classes which also include academics, etc. whereas for Marx is was more economic-based.
