I will never understand why poor people are given privileges when they have kids. We're headed to 8 bil people. People should be taxed for having kids, it's just irresponsible. Less poor people having kids, less crime, less trouble, less of a toll on healthcare. The government could then take some of the other taxes off the middle class so they'll be more or less on the same level of economy if they decide to have children and educate them. It will probably happen in Asia or Africa first, shooting will start over control of waterways. It's why China for instance will never let go of Tibet, it feeds all of their rivers as well as many of India's. Droughts and wars will release some of the earth back to more sustainable population. Either the fighting would happen now when "enlightened" rules of consumption are forced upon peoples who refuse them, or it will happen later when it is cheaper to kill for water than to pay for it.
