Many reasons, but I guess what really scattered any goodwill I approached it with was the difference in the way the tale of job was told compared to the bible version. It really was an eye opener to its lack of beauty, poetry, or meaning, and showed me how the prophet was just some random guy who did not understand the bible and repurposed it for it own gain
