How is Land futuristic? I really like him but his ideas ---even if weirdly described by him--- were pretty common in a lot of writers, artists and philosophers, even before Land ouvre.

Have a good working understanding philosophy from Plato through to Heidegger, then you'll see Land is interesting but nothing special.

Neoreaction started in like 2013 or so and Moldbug's work goes back to 2008 I think. They actually tended to be a bit reserved about Trump unlike the alt-right and they warmed up to him much later.
