There are also different ways to knowledge not just empiricism, metaphysics isn't just legit it's necessary to understand reality.
Modern science isn't unbiased, it has a big verification problem now, see the "reproducibility crisis". It has biased financial and political interests, biased cultural influences, in fact it's the weakness of science that made me question my beliefs about reality in the first place and ask where I ultimately came from, where I'm going and how can I know myself? Everything points to a personal, transcendent reality, namely God.
