You might want to look into the rationality community, specifically Slate Star Codex. It's not a book, but would fill many if printed (and also refers to actual books a lot, so it's useful as a starting point). Their strong suit is their intellectual honesty: even if your views are diametrically opposed to theirs (which seems likely), they won't crucify you for it (and for this they get shat on by various woke types, but that's life).

The Manifesto does not say anything interesting in itself that isn't said in much more detail in Capital, unless as you said, you're interested in it for some sort of aesthetic value.
