Bowls hold the same as a little or medium joint and you still pass it around with your friends. Or you can pack a bowl and take hits over a couple hours. The act of ripping is just when you pull the bowl piece out and clear the pipe. You don't have to smoke the whole bowl in one light.

I remember when I first made friends with Americans, when we hung out they had to shotgun beers and play stupid drinking games in liue of conversation. I'd never needed to play games to get shitfaced before.

Oh god yes, this is the worst. I just want to get drunk in peace and talk about life. I do not need your drinking games. I get it. As a teenager it is a forcing function to get everyone drunk and be daring, but as an adult I do not give a shit.

Lots of people say that cannabis is bad for your brain, but I wonder if it's a combo of the drug and person? I'm a highly-strung person who gets occasionally debilitating bouts of anxiety and a nibble on an edible is the only thing that stops an episode. Been doing this 10 years now.

Marijuana is not good for short-term memory because it destroys neurons of dorsal hippocampus. It also messes with the systems of emotional regulation due to neuronal loss in ventral hippocampus, hence why potheads sometimes have issues interpreting urgency and tense situations. Thankfully, hippocampus is one of the few areas of the human brain that can undergo neurogenesis. Stop smoking weed and rehabilitate your brain.
Also, new research shows nicotine is not good for the habenula, which is involved in reward processing. It shrinks that area. Cut it out too. I am not sure if habenula can undergo neurogenesis, so the damage may be irreversible.
